Agents are the fastest-growing class of API buyers, and almost no API can take their money. This engagement fixes that for one API, in 48 hours, for a fixed price.
What you get
- A working x402 endpoint for your API — either self-hosted as a Cloudflare Worker you own, or behind the hosted x402 Gateway if you prefer zero ops.
- Sat pricing per route with a free probe route, so buyers can validate quality before spending.
- A listing in x402market — verified against a live 402 challenge, discoverable by agentpay wallets and any x402 client.
- An MCP tool so agents can discover and call your API through a model context, not just HTTP.
- Tests + a runbook: challenge, settle, replay, and failure paths, documented so you can maintain it.
- 30 days of async support for settlement or listing issues.
Who it's for
- API teams with real data or compute and no way to sell per call.
- Solo builders who want revenue without building signup, billing, or API-key management.
- Companies piloting agent distribution who need one endpoint live to learn from.
Process
Day 1 — shape. A 45-minute call: pick the 1–3 routes worth charging for, set prices in sats, choose hosted vs self-hosted, and get your payTo address sorted. We start building the same day.
Day 2 — ship. Endpoint live, challenge verified, listing submitted, MCP tool registered. You get a demo call with real settlement and the tests to prove it.
Why this price works
The pattern is already built and battle-tested on this site — the gateway and seller template are the machinery. You're paying for configuration, your specific auth and data shape, and the verification pass, not for six weeks of research.
What we need from you
- API documentation or a staging URL and credentials.
- Access details for the upstream (or a test key).
- A BSV
payToaddress for settlement. - One decision-maker for the scope call.
What this is not
- Not a redesign of your API.
- Not a new pricing strategy for human buyers (keep your existing plans).
- Not custody: payments go to your address, not ours.
FAQ
Can you work with any language or stack?
We need an HTTP API. The payment layer runs on Cloudflare Workers or the hosted gateway; your upstream can be anything reachable over HTTPS.
What if my API needs OAuth or complex auth?
Auth is injected server-side by the payment layer, so upstream complexity is fine — that's one of the reasons to buy the engagement instead of hacking it together.
Do I own the code?
Yes. Self-hosted means a repository you own. Hosted means configuration you control with your own admin key and payTo.
What happens after 30 days?
You keep the endpoint, listing, tests, and runbook. Support continues on a per-incident basis if you want it.
